Middle Creek Ranch Our mission is to produce functional, efficient seedstock that will add long term value to our customers' herds and to their bottom line. Middle Creek Ranch was founded in 2000 by Tom and Barbara Laffey with the purchase of 2 Hereford heifers. Tom raised and showed Hereford cattle in 4-H and FFA in the 1970s and was eager to return to the business. Barbara was raised in the city and always loved animals. The herd has grown over the years to around 90 cattle, with our genetics being sold from California to North Carolina in 2009. Currently bulls are marketed to commercial customers to use on black cows, and show prospects are sold to juniors. Cattle are exhibited on the state and national level to help promote our genetics. Quality Hereford cattle are our passion. |
